Barcelona

Nicki and I had a great time on the boat at the Club Maritim. We would usually explore the city starting in the late morning and return to the boat for a late lunch. The best about our location at the RCMB was their pool, which was right next to the boat. Nothing better than a dip in the afternoon because summer certainly had arrived. The pool went from 21C when we first arrived to 27C when we left! With the pool, we had a perfect little apartment right in town at the bottom of La Rambla. We definitely saw a lot of Barcelona - I’m all Gaudi’d out!

We also took a couple of days to explore the Costa Brava by car. Dali’s home in Cadaques was the highlight.

There was also some boat work to be done, most importantly the new regulator for the alternator. Of course, the “experts” at Pochon told me to get the new regulator but not that I also needed a little box called a “Mastervolt interface” to program the new regulator. But no problem - the regulator got installed and programmed on our last day in Barcelona. Nicki would report there were also a number of other packages that arrived …….
