Alicante

We got here a couple of days ago. Again, great downwind sailing with the Gennaker. Sun and breeze all day. I'm leaving the boat here until the end of March. She's at the docks of the Real Club de Regatas, which is a very nice, safe club in the center of town. Very Spanish. Our neighbor, a retired Spanish doctor who has a 19m Jongert from a few decades ago, volunteered to watch out for Kincsem while we are away. There are cruisers from Sweden and the UK as well - all here enjoying the fabulous winter weather.

Yesterday was a busy day preparing the boat for 2 months of being away - from cleaning to "pickling" the water maker, there are a lot of things to do. Rieke and Benno were a fabulous help. Glad Benno got a visit to the castle in nonetheless!
